What Is The Open System Of Colon Hydrotherapy?
The open system uses the LIBBE (Lower Intestinal Bottom Bowel Evacuation) Device.
The LIBBE Bed Features include:
Water is gravity-fed through a small pencil thin rectal tube resulting in gentle, slow releases of toxic waste
You remain in control, along with the therapist, throughout the session – the therapist is always in and out if the room & close by
The open system offers a very private and relaxed atmosphere mostly controlled by YOU. In comparison, the closed system of colon hydrotherapy involves a therapist inserting a larger-sized speculum into the rectum
Water flows through a carbon filter, which removes any sediment, rust or chlorine. The water is then purified by an Ultra Violet purification system, before it enters the body.
A gentle slow rate of purified, temperature safe water is then gravity fed through the tube. Faeces releases naturally. An odour exhaust system ensures the session room remains odour free.
During a treatment, the client will experience several gentle fills and releases of water which eliminates the debris of putrefied and impacted faecal matter, excessive mucus, gases and in some instances, one or more forms of parasites.
Gently filling and emptying the colon of water improves the peristaltic (wave-like) muscle action, which increases your transit time of waste material and your natural ability to eliminate.
What Will Happen At My Appointment?
You can expect the following at your colon hydrotherapy session:

What Should I Do Before My Appointment?
We recommend you follow a few simple instructions prior to your session, including:
Don’t eat for 2 hours before your appointment
If your appointment is in the morning, drink 4-6 glasses of water with fresh squeezed lemon when you first wake up. If you’re having an afternoon appointment, please drink 1-2 litres of water in the hours prior to the session
Avoid gas-forming foods the previous day. These foods usually include beans, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, onions, cucumber, melons, raw apples and bananas
Abstaining from wheat and dairy for a few days prior can also be beneficial, but is not essential
Avoid caffeine, processed foods, alcohol, sugar, bread and fruit juice. Raw vegetable juice is preferable to fruit juice
Eat lots of fresh vegetables, a little fruit and white meat
Avoid red meat for 24 hours before the session
What Will I Need To Do After The Session?
Your Colon Hydrotherapist will speak with you after the session to ensure you have all the information needed.
The following simple steps are recommended:
Drink plenty of water to keep flushing out toxins
Avoid gas-forming foods for 2 days
Eat more laxative foods such as salads, vegetables, fruit (no bananas), juices, soups, fish, chicken, beets and carrot juice
Avoid heavy meat consumption (beef and pork) for 8-12 hours. Chicken and fish are better choice
Avoid mucous-forming food such as dairy products
Avoid strenuous exercise on the day of the session
Remember to continue drinking 2-3 litres of water per day
Continue your exercise routine
For some people, bowel movements may not return for 2 or 3 days. This will indicate how long it takes for your food to pass through you (transit time). Transit time is ideally 24 hours.
